Default raising tank on nightster?

i was putzin around on the licks site and saw this bracket they have for you to be able to raise the tank up about 2" has anyone else seen this or know anyone that used it??? pics would be great as well as always.......

well ya i didnt kno if anyone has ever done anything like that for cheaper or what...sooo thats what i was kinda inquiring about...

All you need to do is cut out 2 pill shaped steel or aluminum plates, drill a coupe holes in each (1''-2'' apart -however high you want to raise it) and pick up a couple extra short bolts. I used 4 short bolts, which was kind of a pain holding the nuts inside by the frame gusset so you don't see any nuts, just smooth allen bolt heads. Check out my tank, it's raised 2" with 1/8" aluminum pieces. If your at all capable of a little fabricating then do it yourself and save a little $$, it's easy just takes a little while. I also rerouted my wires above the tank and relocated the coil between the cylinders with an aluminum bracket I made.

Also, for the upper bolts, I did have to grind the nuts a little thinner and shorten the bolts to fit between the tank mounting plates and the toptube of the frame.
