The N is the ONLY Harley I wanted. So I got it. I don't regret it at all. Don't get me wrong, the Iron is a cool bike, I just like the N better. They obviously wanted to make an 883 N style bike but I think they missed a few things. For example nothing is cooler than spokes IMO. And where is the gap between the tank and the seat to show a little backbone? To me that was a VERY cool feature on the N. (The little things like that make a big difference to me.) And it's a 1200...

I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase of my Nightster. I upgraded and traded my BT for it. The Iron is a great looking bike as well and my guess is that it will be a popular model. Regarding the wheels, personally, I have always preferred spokes over mags, more so when the rim is colored.

Only thing i like about the iron is the denim paint and maybe alittle more black on the engine. But NOT the 883

If I could afford a second bike I would get an 883 Iron and do the 1200 conversion. I like mag wheels better I guess the blacked out engine and mag wheels is what makes me pick the Iron over the Nightster.

I have both. Got the 1200 first. Having put some miles on the Iron, I'm very happy with the choice I made initially. I got the Iron for the g/f to ride, and let's just put it this way: I'm riding the break in off for her, and once that's done I probably won't ride it again unless mine is down for something, lol. The lack of power and the gearing are two things I don't think I could live with for long.
