i've been looking at throw overs for a while now and still undecided....anyone know if the yokes damage the paint on the fender or do some yokes have a soft liner or is it stiff leather ?

Mine's some stiff leather/pleather, but I have it mounted over the HaulenAss sissy bar mount yet under the seat & pretty much off the paint on the side of the fenders....But I plan on gettin' a new paint job this year or next, but same color & need to see how it'll rub the paint with the current setup. Some "mole hair" or 3M Clear paint covering would take care of it.

To keep the throwover yokes from damaging the paint you could put soft felt or moleskin under the yoke.
