Default For West Virginia Folks...

Just wondering who all out there has gotten their Motorcycle endorsement in WV and if you can describe the test for me. I've been just getting my permit in the spring and getting it renewed once during the year for the last...10 or so years...I hear the skills test in WV is a killer. I haven't really been able to find the time to fit in the test to give it a whirl with running back and forth from Colorado and Montana. How is the test? What are the drills you have to run through?

Default Skills Test

Hi, from Fairmont. I got lucky I took a riding course for work I only had to take the written part. If it's like the riding course it's not that bad, riding around cones and braking drills nothing real hard. Hope this helps..

I opt'd for the written & riding course....When I first got the bike back in '00, and that was only after having this bike, or any street legal bike for about 2 months, and I only missed like one or two points on the entire riding portion. It wasn't very hard at all, and I hadn't even practiced any of the weaving in & out of cones, etc.

What I did was take the msf 2 day safety course. Been riding for years but still learned some things. The course is really easy, and you get your endorsement, I took mine in Ashland,Ky good for Wv.I think it was 90 dollars.
