Default Tired of Riding?

How many veterans here have gotten tired of riding and is there such a thing?

I was talking to a guy last night with a crotchy, something Japanese, and he mentioned that he is actually tired of riding.

He has been riding for about a year and has recently set his bike for commuter travel everyday. He mentioned that after about 2 months or so he is tired of riding and sometimes wished he had a cage vehicle.

I guess there is a difference that I don't know of yet as for pleasure riding and commuter riding.

What are your thoughts?

I don't think I'll ever get tired of riding. But I can see his point. Sometimes when I have a commitment to ride, like with the Patriot Guard, I have a difficult time getting motivated. But then usually, once I get on the bike and out on the road, It's All Good.

I don't think that there is such a thing as tired of riding!! If you do get tired then your getting old. People forget that riding is freedom on two wheels!!! "Live to ride, Ride to live"

I guess it can be like anything else. I got tired of going to the gym, which I used to love, that is why I am so fat now. Haven't got tired of riding yet. Hopefully that doesn't happen since I am still finishing up my winter mods. I did get tired of riding my crotch rocket since it made my elbows and wrist hurt after about an hour. Now I just sit back and relax and ride.

Never enough riding. I commute daily and on the weekends if someone if up for a ride I'm the first one there. It clears my mind of all the week's garbage.

I don't know, but it hasn't happened yet....

I'm been riding every year since 1970 and on average put in 20,000 to 25,000 miles on Harley's each year...

That comes out to over 39 years, and at least 800,000 miles on Harley's and I haven't gotten tired of riding up to this point.

The only time I am tired of riding is after I have ridden all day
