Well I can say that I am exactly the crowd this is marketing to. Late twenties, Sportster was within my price range, I look a lot like the guys in that video. So I guess that makes me stupid and gay and I should give up my Harley. At least, that seems to be the opinion of half the people that replied to this thread.

IMO...I totally agree with the above statement! The bike looks pretty cool, but the guy riding it looks like he should be locked in my basement playing dungeons and dragons.

wow, when I bought my Nightster, Harley owners told me I couldn't "acknowledge" other non-harley riders on the road. When I joined this forum, all I read about every 10 posts was whether a sportster was a "girls" bike or not. NOW, style code is in effect?? How many restrictions are you going to put on riding because of this "image" bulls@*t?! Just get on the road and run what ya brung!

How do so many people diss a company that they they are so dedicated to? HD is a businsess with a marketing department. They need to sell bikes to keep it alive. Right now they are branching out to a younger generation. All the Baby Boomers will be too old to ride soon so they need to replace their sales somehow. Harley started off as basic transportion for regular working guys. The media made bikers out to be leather clad, bar brawling bad asses. Now they are changing things up to a new generation. And if these guys are gay, sign me up. I bet Yaniv is pulling more high quality tail than any of us this site.
Exactly what he said....
And for you older folk that thinks the guy is a gay lookin...you should think back to the days of the 70's... that look and style with the bobber craze is back.
Dont be mad that these younger kids have a great opportunity to start riding at their age just because you probably didn't. You ride your bikes, let them ride theirs.
oh, and notice in those pics of "real" harley riders, they all have "nice" easy on the body things to get them thru the ride, windshields, radios, farings, soft seats... maybe a real rider doesn't need anything but the bike.

Or perhaps you'd like to take it back to your glory days.

People get too wrapped up about image. Do what you do and leave others to do the same. If you can't do that because you think them acting a certain way affects how people see you while you're wearing your vest that's no longer leather because of all the *** *** patches on it and ***-less chaps, well.... perhaps you should run your bike into a bridge, or something of the like.

What a crock of chit this thread has turned into. People are actually trying to define the meaning of cool? What a joke.....It's just another way to tell the posers from true riders.
