Default Double 16's on a Nightster?

I know people like the 21 on the front, but I think without a front fender and a 16 in the front my bike would be set! I'm a huge fan of Flyrite Choppers and they run alot of there custom bikes with double 16's looks to good at least in my opinion. How easy would this be to get if possible? and what about rideability?

I don't know about the 16 on the front but I would like to get a bigger tire on the front as big as I could get on it I took the fender off I like the look better then the 21 + I think it would handle better.

I think you'd need to get a mid front end for it to fit a 16". i like the fat tire look too but i like the nightster wheel the way it is, wouldn't change it. it's not skinny and it certainly aint fat, it's just right.

Ditto on the 19 incher. I think it just fits the Sportster really well. I would have liked a beefer front end (wide glide perhaps?) but of course, that would be extra cash for the MoCo to put out...

My only thought on changing the wheels, tires, or forks is that you are messing with the geometry of the bike...the bike was designed with a rake, a certain center of mass, and longitudinal stability...be careful changing that geometry, and don't put too much stress on those factory parts....

I say go for it. On the website xl forum some guy names KarlC did it and he explained how he fit a 160 rear and 130 front tired with the stock narrow glide. Both rims were 16"s and were powder coated black.

Give it a springer front end and you got a baby cross-bones.

I like it though...
