"They" do not have to ride one, so what's the point of their beeouch.
Some people just feel BIGGER by putting others down.
This started the day we developed verbal communication.
They way it is.....

Sportsters were originally made for racing and lots of hard core bikers ride them. Nuf said? Don't get caught up in the snob factor.

HAHAHA,some douche on My Space posted on my "Mobster" page because I killed him for attacking me numerous times about my pic and that I ride an 883 girlie bike. I then ragged on him a bit and at the end of the statement I said he probably didn't ride and guess what? He doesn't own a bike! Some douche with a wannabe fast & the furious car. These things happen not only with bikes. I own a Gibson Les Paul but it's not a custom shop $3+K guitar so you know..... *** EM' they didn't pay for it,they don't have to ride it and it's the bike I wanted as a kid in high school in the mid 80's. Well I got it now and noone is going to convince me to trade for a BT. My bud just bought a Nightrain after he swapped his Sportster for a Blazer and keeps telling me to go get 1 even though he knows I'm perfectly happy with my bike.

The Sportster is the only Harley that really appeals to me. It is fun to smile and tell folks that "If you can afford anything they make, why would you want something other than a Sportster?"

The richest man I've ever known negotiated all day to buy a Jeep and finally had the spare tire removed to close the deal. Those that worked their way into great wealth and can afford anything often know more about what things are worth. Those who have been swimming in deep credit are about to find out.

i will admit i used to give my buddy crap ALL THE TIME about being on a chicks bike which was a 89 Sporty 883, till i bought a 1200 custom while i was in Korea just so i could have something to ride. I have to admit...i loved my 1200 custom.....certainly NOT a begginers bike, fast and top heavy...but fun....i still love my roadking.......lol

Enjoy your ride, Someone said ,What kind of Harley does a real man ride? Any kind he wants to! Being an ironworker, construction worker my whole life and hung with some of the toughest , some who rode sporsters.some 1% sporster riders. Most people who say those things have never really ridden them. I have had some BT's. There all good bikes, I now own a sporster.
