i have a 2006 883 i upgraded to a 1200, i put keith black pistons in it, and rejetted the carb ,and put a dyno tec ignition on it. now i what to put cams in it and a 42mm carb and breather on it, any ideas

You are on the way down the hog pog trail you should have just gotten an entire kit from one source, because now it's a total crap shoot as to whats going to work!

 

What heads were used in the conversion? If they are stock 883 heads, cam and carb will be of limited benefit.

 

I'd have to agree with the first two posters....First thing should have been a high flow AC along with the engine work for proper tuning of the carb/engine. What heads were used or head work performed? If no head work was done & they are still the stock 883 heads, I'd have them worked on or swapped out first. Then I'd touch the cams to match the 1200 conversion & head work. The stock carb will flow enough air & fuel to handle just about any 1200 conversion even past 100HP. Just my $0.02 though.

 

Way more info is needed. Piston style, heads, compression? Everyone is spot on with there advice.
