02 Sportster 883 XLH swingarm.
Hi! New on this site.
I have a question and all answers will be appreciated.
I have heard that a different year sportsters swingarm would fit on my 02 883 XLH sportster and would make the back of my sportster lower and about 2 - 3 inches longer. Is this true?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I have installed 10 1/2" and a 1" lowering kit. So far I've been lucky since the tires clear everything. I also had my seat reworked by removing about 1 1/2" of foam. The reason I'm doing this is because I am extra short and the ground looks far away.
So far, I'm able to reach the ground with ease but, with all the shocks, lowering blocks and all, the bike rides like a rigid.
That's my reason for looking if anything else can be done.
Thanks for your reply.
