Finally gets warm enough for a really great ride through some country back roads. So I go for a ride today and my damn shifter peg falls off about 10 miles into the ride. I had to hook the shift lever for the ride back. nobody i ride with has an extra shifter peg either. Now I have to wait till tuesday to ride again when the dealership opens up. I hate murphy's law

Dude, I washed my bike, detailed it and had it lookin all spiffy. Took it for a ride saturday and due to the snow that had melted, there was alot of water on the roads. My bike was so dirty that you could not see what color it was. So I know how you feel, but hey at least we got to ride for a little bit eh?

I know these people that work at the dealerships need days off also, BUT, I think its bullchit that they are closed Sunday and Monday. Well the one in my town is anyway. I only go to the one here in town as a last resort. There are two more within 60 miles or so. Sorry about the tangent, Hate to here about the footpeg. Here in Northeast Arkansas the last couple of days have been great. high 60s. Sunny. I rode the hell out of mine. Good Luck

I was 100 miles out when mine came off last summer. My boot sole has a lip on it so it was a bit of a pain to shift but no reason to even think about turning back. It just took more time to shift.

yeah, mine had a bad habit of falling off when I first got it too. I tried loctite and everything, I finally drilled and tapped a hole and put a set screw in to hold it. lol I'm too cheap to buy a new one.
