Default Who isn't even thinking of trading "up"?

I personally will not trade "up". I could have gotten any bike I wanted when I went to the dealer. I got the Nightster because I fell in love with it. I do not desire to have a different bike.

I am actually considering trading my chopper down for an 883 Iron for the wife. I love the way it looks and it might be fun to have a small zippy bike.

Talking Keepin my Sportster

Not me. I like my 1200C. One of the guys I work with has an '08 Nightster and talked to the stealer and they would take his bike on trade in but he would still have to come up with $2000.00 down for the new bike, VROD Muscle. He has been paying for over a year on the bike and if he where to trade in his Nightster he would brake even on what he owes and what they would give him on the trade.
Hmmm, he purchased the Nightster and put down a down payment and has been paying for over a year and yet he still has no equity in the bike, go figure!

Not here. I too had a good selection to choose from that was with-in my budget...a couple of used Dyna's and Softails. Heck, If I just waited a month or so I could have had a new Dyna or maybe a Softail. But, I love the bike I bought. As soon as I saw it I thought it was "me". I wont trade. My main reason being that the title to my bike is in my possession. Won’t give that up for anything…especially in trade for a payment!
