Nightster blowing smoke
I started my bike after having her sit for several days ( bitterly cold ) and noticed that she was blowing white smoke from the exhaust, this only lasted for about a minute before clearing up, is this something I should be concerned with? I just installed the Basanni pipes on her and had a hard time getting them seated, could this be a problem with the seating of the pipes? This is my first winter with both the bike and an EFI system

If it's really cold outside, you will always see white smoke in your exhaust when you start a cold engine. This is perfeclty normal and is the case with cars and trucks as well.
If it's not cold and you're seeing white smoke all the time after the engine warms up, then that could indicate a bad fuel/air mixture (if I remember correctly).

Just condensation from the hot exhaust on cold steel, and it should only happen the bike (exhaust) is cold and it is warming up.
Sometimes you might also notice some water vapor or drops being blown out of the exhaust pipes when this happens.
The main thing is the run the engine long enough to warm to pipes and get rid of any water that might be inside. If not, the condensation/water will collect in the low sections of the exhaust and could lead to possible internal rusting of the system.
