OK guys, I want a new pair of fingerless gloves. But I want the gel palm ones.
What kind do you have, and where can I buy them? I really can't afford the HD, $60 a pair. So I'm hopeing one of you guys can hook me up with a deal.
Thanks for the help guys!!! Ride on!!

River Road as a couple of gel palm fingerless gloves for $15!! RR is not a bad brand either. I have a pair of their gloves, no gel, but they are made well and break in (what little break in there is) very nicely. Bought mine from the local HD dealer after I fell over from seeing the price of HD gloves of the same quality.

Bell makes some palm-gel ones for bicycles with open mesh backs. Work well and cheap. Available at both stores that end in "mart".

I use the HD fingerless gloves. I'm not sure they have gel in the palm, but they have a lot of padding in the palm. The one's I wear (in the summer) are only about $18.

I see you're practically a neighbor. I was over in Cookeville just a couple of days ago (hit Oma's Roadhaus and the Hog Barn while I was there). Also see you're a PGR member. I look forward to meeting you.

These are the ones I use

They are pretty good, I don't think they are gel, but you can definitely feel the padding on the palms. Can't beat the price

Yes I know you were here, I spoke to you about the mission. It was on a friday and I ended up having to work. I wasn't happy but I had to work. I am disapointed about missing the mission, and the chance to meet you. But I'm sure we'll meet later this year. Looking forward to it!

And a big 'ol thanks to you guys for the info on the gloves. I'm gonna check out those gloves TW mentioned, as well as the rest!!

FYI, The last pair or River Road gloves I owned had really crappy stitching. The seams decided to come apart the first weekend.

I was surprised, since they are supposed to make quality gear. But, they were cheap and I bought them because I had neglected to pack a spare pair of gloves on a trip.

I restitched them and I think they'll be fine.

Take a look at these, they were developed by an orthopedic doctor. I have a pair, I like them.

Actually the mission was 2 weeks before. I was back over there this past weekend. I'm in Cookeville failry often. It's a nice bike ride over there (unless it's 5 degrees outside...that was a chilly ride!)
