Default Sat on a XR1200 today

I'm starting to think I woulda bought one now (same price as what I gave for my FXST) if I didn't have to worry about hauling the wife aorund.
Guess I know what I'm getting in 2014

I sat on one today also....seat was hard and uncomfortable....I don't much care for all the plastic and that intake under the tank is down right fugley in my opinion. 11 grand seems too much too.

I totally agree. Its a cool concept but not something I would ever want to ride for the long haul or two up.

my xr1200 came in to the dealer friday. wont be riding it for awhile since there is still a foot and a half of snow on the ground! i bought it as my rape and pillage bike. you know take it out and raise a little cane then put it back in the garage before the cops show up. ill ride my nightrod for the long distance trips.
