Anyone done any of these xelement bags from Leatherup?
I'm just wondering if they fit well, and of quality. If you have done some other inexpensive throw over bags, I'll hear about those too. Pictures are nice!
I haven't tried the xelement bags but I did have a set of inexpensive leather bags from Leather UP. They were inexpensive and looked it as well. The rivets started to rust in less than a year. I thought about the xelement when I replaced them but went with a set of Willie and Max bags instead (got then on sale from motorcyclesuperstore.com for $139). You can seel the Leather Up bags that I had in the pic below:

Those look pretty cheap to me and they are water resistant...not water proof.
Here's my Willie & Max's. They're pretty old (I would say from the 80's or earlier). Bought them at a swap meet for 45 bucks. They were completely flat when I got them and looked like they'd been sitting in a garage for years.
They cleaned up pretty well, and they're real leather.
I'd look around some and get ya some good older ones. They're out there.
Hey thanks Schu and Shoat. Good point Mandog. Didn't notice that. So Shoat, you got those current bags at motorcyclesuperstore? Those do look nice. Do they work well as throw-overs? I read that you mounted them I think.
killer - they are throw overs with hard backs and steet rod frames. I cut the throw over flaps off and hard mounted them to Easy Brackets. They are not waterproof but the hat box lids (with snaps on each end) help to keep the water out.
