It may not have a plug on it. Tell him to take off the seat and look. I just hook mine to the terminals with the battery clip end

There should be a pigtail cable comin' from the battery if it was installed. If not, I would recommend buying one. Under 10.00 and worth the investment. This will allow you to keep the battery charged when not riding. Simple plug and play.

Mine was tucked right in front of the battery cover. There is a cover on the end of the plug. It may be there if it was installed.

The playing doesn't start until you unplug it.

Mine had no plug but the tander came with one, simple job didn't even require removing the battery, remove the side cover and the positive terminal is right there and I used the ground point right behind the starter for the negitive, whole job took about seven minutes.
I had already cleared about two hours with the wife for the job so I spent the rest of the time polishing

my harley was delivered yesterday and it was running. its 20 degrees outside and i wanted to get her going and warm. the battery still has juice but i know i wore it down quite a bit while trying to start her up. i couldn't get it to run for longer then about 10 seconds because of the cold. do these bikes come with tenders on them? i have an 07 street bob. if not? can i purchace only plug ends i have a tender already just no extra plugs.

and heres my retarded newb question. i am still getting familiar with my harley i knew my kawasaki pretty good. i'm not even sure the best way to tear it down to install a tender plug? any help? please be detailed i am the kind of guy that actually reads the destructions before i start tearing into anything

I would honestly recommend a service manual for owning a harley. They're very valuable to have. I don't personally have a battery tender, but it sounds like you just need access to the battery, pretty easy to get to, just take the cover off.

Yes you can purchase just the pigtail ends. Most bike shops should carry them. They are under 10.00 unless you buy it from HD.
