Default How long can a bike sit, before winter storage measures?

Should I take any measures if my bike sits more than 2 months? (drain tank, fresh oil, etc.)

Thanks.

you should top off your tank and add stabil or something like stabil and you should really change the oil before you store so the sediments don't settle and turn to sludge. Everyone has there own winter storage theories, this is my winter practice. Try searching, you'll find tons of stuff you can do.

How much longer than 2 months?
2 months isn't that long, I would just connect a battery tender and have a full tank of fresh gas. If you're talking 3 months, then I would recommend you add stabilizer to the gas and do an oil change.

Most people don't realize that gas starts going stale in a matter of weeks.

2 months is not bad, just add stabil and top off the tank, maybe a battery tender. more than two, make sure she's covered, remove the seat and keep indoors away from the critters, (ask me how I know)
