Rode to the Ohio river and back from here. Took about 4 hours total (but I did do some piddling around).
Not the most comfortable ride, but it was fun.

Longest one day ride....Nashville, TN to Youngstown, OH. A little over 600 miles. Many 400 - 500 mile days, but that was the longest.

Longest trip..2,300 miles over a 5 day period.

No problems on either of those. Only time I've had a mechical problem (electrical system failure) on a road trip was over in Memphis. Just a short 225 mile trip, each way.

Longest single day ride was 480 miles, but usually once a week make a 250 - 300 mile lunch run.

I "won" my sporty on e-bay last year. It was about 250 miles away from me.
I got a ride with a friend to pick it up and then rode it home 250 miles in about 40 degree weather. And it rained on me twice!
Used to be 4 or 500 miles a day was no biggie but I havent been doing that much lately.

I really don't have time in the summer for extended rides, mostly get in 3 or 4 hours once or twice a week if I'm lucky.
Longest was about 7 hours +/- 550 km or about 350 miles, I was tired but not sore afterward but that's about as long as I would want to go in a day.

640 miles to Jekyll Island GA on Friday (had a hankering for shrimp and grits) and came back on Sunday. On a Nightster. Stock seat.
