I replaced my uncomfortable Sporty 48 bars with a set of Biltwell 8" Chimps. Nothing needed to be changed except for bending the brake line. I however replaced the brake line with a braided one just because it looked like a lot of tension on the banjo fittings.
The swap out took about 1 hour total time by myself which included adjusting them a few times to get the right angle for comfort.
I did bring the bike in to the shop for the brake line swap out which requires bleeding. Total cost for line swap out was $35.00 everything included. 1/2 hour worth of work. My local shop is great in not raking you over the coals.
