My vote for 2009 post of the year (so far).Ive rode mine all over the southeast US,I ride with road kings,wingers,gsxrs,250 nighthawks,and alot of others.Ive never got a bad word about my bike from people I ride with or anyone else.So screw your little wild HOG friends and just go ride.Must be some pretty boring meeting if all they have to do us cheer and boo peoples bike choice.Next meeting night instead of going to hang out with HOG at closed Harley dealership, go patronize your local strip club with a pocket full $ones$ and see how much you get booed.

 

I bought a sporty because, to me, it's more or a Harley then any other. The Sportster has been in production longer then ANY other bike in the history of the MoCo. I tried the whole HOG thing out, met this guy who rode a V-Rod. He told me that I needed a “real” Harley. Lets see…his bike has been in production for 7 years. Mine has been in production for 52 years, but I’m the one who needs a real Harley! Walk away from these idiots. Remember, it’s a Harley OWNERS Group. I’m still looking for my local Harley Riders Group!

I did that on friday to a guy on a big dresser ricers. He shook his head and walked away.

 

Yes they are real Harleys. They are not "beginner" bikes. Too top heavy. They can flat out run most other Harley's and other bikes, perhaps on the short end - yet they are quick off the line. So do not worry about what those people say - you have and own a real Harley. Unless it is a conspiracy by Honda and they sneak in and put the Harley logo on there. Kidding. I have a sporty and love it.

 

Shouldn't those guys and gals be hijacking ships in Somalia, Pirates I tell you the lot of them.

Google "poser" and you will have a picture of the lot of them with their red noses and all.

Move on and find a group that enjoys riding and not to the closest watering hole.

 

i will ride with anyone who has a bike. doesnt matter what brand or make. just remember you actually ride yours. those folks are probably just weekend warriors who trailer to events then ride it in the last 4 miles. be proud of your bike. not many folks can say they own a Harley Davidson.

 

I love my Sportster.

My very own wife hates my Dodge Ram and so she'll have too hate it.

You don't by a car, Boat or Motor Scooter to fulfill the expectations of others.

My neighbor has a Jap bike. He is a good guy. I won't ride it but I'll ride with him and I don't care what any poser thinks.
