Foward control woes

I completed the install. I was surprised but Home Depot (HD was closed) had the 5/16"-20 thread socket-head screws that were missing from the kit. I also had to buy a tap & die set to chase the threads on the new shift lever. I figured this won't be the last time this problem will show up. I'll have to get used to the bike now, but I like it better. It's got to help on longer rides. It was high 50's in Denver today, the engine needed the exercise so I took her out. Aw Yeah!!
I think I'm gonna hang onto the old parts just in case sometime I need to go back to mid config. Sorry.
