Default got out in 70 degrees

Oh man it was nice to get out on the bike today. It was 70 degrees today and perfect ridin'. I was dead lined by back ordered parts all through Sept and Oct. into Nov. The weather and work didn't come together until today.

Black Betty is a uncouth bitch and reveled in terrorizing the local roads this afternoon.

Something strange is happening. And I don't mean all you people that are having weather that is warmer then usual for this time of year. It snowed in Vegas this week. It may not have been much compared to the colder areas. But to us, 3 or 4 inches is a lot and it 'stuck' all day. It was the first time that has happened in 20 years or so. And that's why it made the TV news in other parts of the country.

And to make matters worse, it is only reaching the high 30s, maybe low 40s, during the daytime this week. I have been riding a long time. But I really don't think I would have bothered if the weather was like this every winter.

Perhaps I am just 'spoiled' by living in an area where the winters are normally pretty mild. Do you people in areas where winters are like this normally ever get much riding done in the winters?

I still ride in the winter. I just throw on a hoody and my carhart jacket. I'm set. Normally once it gets in the teens I don't ride. Mainly because there is usually salt and ice on the ground. You think people drive like jack asses when it's nice outside. You should see them then!

Today was great here too... Well better then normal. It got up to 40 something and I rode to work and around. Enjoy!
