Bummer about that tank, that by itself sort of steers it in the bobber direction.I'm sure you could find somebody that'll take it off your hands though.How about a street tracker? Get some real flat track parts and build a better XR.That would be about the most unique looking it would also be a bunch more comfortable than a cafe and every bit as much fun to ride.By the way I got nothing against bobbers, cafes or chops you just see so few nicely done "street trackers" that'd be the way I'd go, having already done the bobber thing.

While I like the new xr1200, I like the "xr's" people are building in garages better. Check out xlforum.com. The have sections devoted to cafe/flat-track/bober/chopper. Save or sell that tank to someone who wont chop it up. To many sportster tanks around to ruin than one.
Joseph Garcia... I gotta admit, my feathers got a little ruffled with the flat black and red comment about bobbers. I wish your bike wasn't so freakin awesome so I could insult it in retaliation, lol!
