I know exactly where Little Flower is - family lives down the block. I'm up in Westchester so it's quite a haul out there considering snow in the weather. But man, that sounds awesome and wonderful for the kids.

I agree on the winter driving. I just got my bike in October and I sold my car. I wear underarmour cold gear top and bottoms, thermal socks on top of regulars. I also wear a northface fleece under my leather and a full helmet. I am warm as anything except my finger tips. Coldest ride I have had was this this morning. 20 Degrees.

You have a windshield? I couldn't imagine riding without one in this weather, but I guess it's not bad if you've got the full face mask and something to cover your neck. My jacket doesn't zipper all the way, and luckily I can tuck my bandana into my hooded sweatshirt to help. Although a turtleneck would prob would good too.

Thought you were a winter rider. I am at exit 63. Your only 5 minutes from home at the end of the ride. Its only about a 35 minute ride to Babylon for you. The ride ends at wading River...exit 69.

35 minute ride? Which way do you go? From my house to island 16 is about a 25-30 min ride.

Now come on....I hang out at the 7-11 at exit 68 since it is owned by a biker and is biker friendly. It is exactly 7.7 miles from 63 to 68. You trying to tell me from 66 to exit 63 holtsville is 35 miles? Please....Its not even 35 miles if you rode from Riverhead to Island 16.

You know I had to map quest it.....Your 29 minutes to Babylon....

Never said anything was a 35 mile ride. I google mapped it, from my house to 200 E Sunrise Hwy, Lindenhurst, NY 11757 it says is 35.8 miles and about 54 minutes.
