arnott air suspension
#11
I put the Arnott's on my vrod, mostly for the ability to lower the bike so I can flat foot it. Mine have an adjustable firmness setting as well as the up/down and MAN does that setting make a big difference. I can get the ride hardtail hard or softail soft, but prefer it somewhere just in favor of more firm.
The kit is very well put together, all the hardware is of good quality, and everything fit as advertised. The only neg I have is the plastic tubing used for air delivery, I see it as a weak point in the chain. If that plastic chafes or gets nicked, the shocks deflate immediately.
I really like my shocks though. Where are you going to fit that substantial sized air pump on the sporty?

Ive got a Legend Air Ride kit which is essentially the exact same crap. I love mine. I find the ride is about the same quality as swapping the air shocks off the touring bikes. I just love the on the fly adjustability, especially if Im carrying a passenger. That and being able to lower it way down when parked is pretty cool. They're pricey but I like them.
Schwing, you can see where the compressor is located right below the swing arm pivot point. If Im not mistaken the Arnott kit mounts the pump in the same place. I'd eventually like to mount it elsewhere because 1) I don't like being able to see it and 2) I've rubbed it on the pavement a couple times.
It's just as low, if not lower than a strutted bike right here. I've never ridden it this low though.
