Question Stock exhaust pipe diameter?

Anyone know (or able to check sometime) the diameter of the stock exhaust pipes?

Trying to figure out what I want to do w/ my exhaust and found a listing on craigslist (listings up but who knows if its still for sale) for SE 2 pipes for sale. Pictured in the listing is the whole exhaust setup, mufflers (or tips I don't know the terminology), the pipes going from the end to the engine, and the crossover which I just found out was on sportsters pre-2004 models to balance the exhaust gases.

I'm going to call the guy tomorrow to see if its still for sale, but I just wanted a comparison between stock pipes and mine. I think mine are round 3", I don't remember off hand but they are pretty big and baffleless (drag pipes is what these are called correct?).

EDIT: heres the link http://longisland.craigslist.org/mcy/882262185.html

That looks like the stock set-up off a pre-rubber mount with Screamin Eagle slip-ons. If the mufflers are unmolested then $100 is a scorching good deal.

I thought so too. Something I want to act quick on.

But I'm a little worried since I tried sending an email and it got returned with an error, could be just associated with whats written in the listing though.

Your pipes are prob 1 7/8 or 2 inch max. The 2 1/2 diameter you measured prob includes the heat shield. Most aftermarket pipes like that are a pipe inside a pipe (heat shield tube).

I measured from the ends of the pipes, it was 2.25". There isn't anything except the pipe on my exhaust.
