2003 Hugger tuning question
I changed out the plugs & air filter in Stripperella's Hugger. Air filter was fine, but in need of a change. Plugs I do every year anyways, since they're cheap and easy. And, since it hasn't stopped snowing for 2 days, I figure riding season's done anyhow.
Anyways, front cylinder plug is dark brown to the point where it's borderline black. Rear plug is light brown to where it's borderline white, which is not good.
Before I start taking things apart, or reading the repair manual, I thought I'd touch base here on the forum first. These things ain't like crotch rockets, with a carb for each cylinder. I'm assuming this thing only has one jet, one needle, etc.
Any tuning ideas, or is this normal, since the rear cylinder is hotter anyways?
Thanks in advance.

You didn't mention how many miles where on those plugs or how many miles are on the bike. There may be nothing wrong except that maybe the front cylinder is using a tiny little bit of oil, it's not unusual to find one plug darker than the other, if for no other reason than the front cylinder runs cooler than the rear one. A bad plug wire can cause that problem also.
