Ive brought mine right up to 100mph and it dont rub! We used an extension cord for a spacer between the wheel & fender, heres some pictures of how i did mine, the right way, to make my bracket one piece with the fender! I have over 200+ pictures of the work i did last winter
but I do like the finshed product........how much would it cost to have it done ?

Well, Yatez004 has all the pictures of basically what I did, except I just cut the entire top of the brace out and removed it, then welded the remaining side braces to the fender. That way there is nothing inside the fender to interfere with how close to the tire you want to mount the fender. The picture shows the amount I removed in the lowering process. The other thing you have to do is re-curve the fender. The diameter the fender is designed to be larger than the 19" or 21" tire. When you set the fender on the tire, the center of the fender rests on the tire and the ends of the fender stand out away from the tire, so it needs to be re-curved so the clearance will be uniform all the way around. This is done by slightly widening the fender. As you widen the fender, the diameter will get smaller, and as you squeeze the sides of the fender together, the diameter will increase. Just keep working it until you get the diameter just right for the way you want to mount it. It isn't that big a project, but a hammer & wrench won't do it either.
