Default Kraft Tech Forwards??

Hello,

New to the list and really enjoying it. 2 weeks ago I bought my first HD. '95 883 Sportster turned 1200. I'll get plenty of laughs at this but I am 6'7" 220#. Believe it or not it doesn't feel all that small under me. When on the forward pegs it is really comfortable. I've searched the archives for info on forwards and looks like hands down the genuine HD's are preferred, but being the tight wad I am I have to ask if anyone can comment on the "Kraft Tech" forward controls as sold by K.C. Int. ? I think they are USA made and not knowing up from down they look nice to me. At $189 they seem like a deal but ??

Thanks for any pointers

I bought my O-Ring hand grips, (that match those O-ring pegs), from KC Int, and everything went smoothly. Those forwards seems decent.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on yer new ( to you ) scooter. I would suggest getting a shop manual before you get anything else. It will pay for itself the first time you use it.

Hey thanks guys for all the welcomes and advice. Unless I hear of a bad experience with the Kraft Techs that is what I will probably go with. I'll share my results when I do make the move. As for getting a manual before doing anything else I got lucky on e-bay last night and have a factory manual on the way.

If you already have forwards, why buy more?

Sorry about that. My initial post is a little confusing. I have forward pegs but no controls.

Ahhhhh. In that case, I have no useful advice, as mine came with forwards. I can say I definitely prefer them over mids.
