Default clutch problems!!

I have a 95 sportster 1200 and I am wondering if I have to remove the entire side case to the motor to replace the clutch pack. Also if I do remove the side case does it let my motor oil drain out also?

Yes the cover must come off but its not that big of a deal. The oil is not motor oil its trans and primary drive oil its only 1 quart that you will have to put back in. Harleys dont have much oil in the moter or cases most of the oil in harleys is in the oil tank and oil filter. But The only oil that will come out of that cover will be th gear oil. Its not to hard but Im sure the foward controls may be a pain to get off to clear the case
