Cool NE1 have the black bezel on the headlight on their nightster?

Has anyone changed the metal finish on their nightster to the black bezel, I believe it is off the cross bones bike?

If so please post a picture.

I think it would give the light a different look, like an optical illusion that you have a smaller light on the bike.

What do you guys think?

I currently have the machine finish bezel and was considering the chrome or the black bezel.

I am going to change the bezel around the oil cap to chrome and do the oil temp guage dip stick, but it only comes in chrome hence the change of bezel.

I am also considering changing the rocker covers to the mirror chrome peices as well.

I changes the Bezel on the dipstick because I too went with the chrome temp. dip stick. I looks sharp. Also thinking of going with the chrome rocker covers also to make it pop just a bit more.

Most people powdercoat it...I went the easier route and ordered a crossbones bezel...cost a total $33 at my dealer.

Hey papadop88, the bike looks real good, freakin amazing.

I love the black bezel on the headlight, I guess I know what I am going to do now.

Much appreciation for the cool pictures.

Clever. Do you know if the Crossbones bezel will fit an 08 1200c?

It should, but I would check it out. I believe the C's have the same headlight setup as the N, but I could be wrong.

The way I stumbled upon using the crossbones bezel was just dumb luck. I was contemplating powdercoating mine, but one day while I was at my dealer, I was looking at the crossbones. I noticed that the headlight bezel was black. There was an N sitting next to it so I compared the two, and the light bulb went on. The Xbones bezel is slightly rounder but almost identical.

Went straight to my buddy and asked him for the price. Once he said 33 bucks OTD, I didn't even hesitate to order it. I took my old one off, put this on in less than 5 mins, and sold my old one on ebay for 15 bucks...so the new one only cost me around 18 bucks. Worth every penny IMO.
