Well here is the deal. My sporty (08 883) has about 1000 miles on it now. Recently I noticed what seems to be oil seepage. If you are standing to the left of the bike (opposite to the air cleaner side) there are two torx head bolts on each cylinder, and just on that side. All for of them have what appears to be oil seepage coming from around the bolt heads. Its not enough that its dripping, but enough that its visible. What would cause this? Not tight enough of?

 

well tighten down by hand, just check if they have any movement or play, might have vibrated loose.

if it seems tight just keep riding it but keep an eye on it.

its a new bike so keep pictures and write the date you first noticed it in case it turns out to be under warranty, you want every possible record and piece of evidence on your side, not the dealers.

mine weep like hell from every crack, just a very very fine mist all over the heads, not enough for concern, at least not to me. id fix it if i had the time. then again my bike is 20 years old
