go to wallmart get the $20 cover... put some charchole on a paper plate as well as some moth *****... put that on your seat and under your bike... the charcole will actually absorb the mosture under the cover that builds up from the temp changes and prevent rust... moth ***** will keep away the little ones that want to make the HD a home for the winter... regular old grill charchole will work just fine... done it now for years! used to keep my bike in college in a little barn... came out one year to a rusted mess... dad told me to do this and NEVER had a problem again!
Good thought!! I have that $20 Walmart cover and that thing sweats bad in the pole barn with temp swings all winter. I'll give this a try this year. By the way I like the cover, just not the moisture it holds in.
How the hell do you get it in the basement. I ca't even get either bike in the front or back door??????????????????
A sporty will fit through a standard door opening which I used to have to do @ the apartment....once you pull the front tire in you may need to put one side of the bars in first & then wiggle the other side in. Now at my house, I have a sliding glass door to pull through which may be a bit wider than a standard door because I can actually ride it right in.
