well, it's not a Sportster. They've all had shocks.

Is that an oil tank under where the seat goes?

That's not a stock HD frame, the stretch and rake make that pretty obvious. But it's DEFINITELY a Big Twin. Check the rear wheel out...and the spacing where the motor would mount. If it's from the late 60's, I'd say a Shovelhead, though any BT would fit it, really.

Not even made for an HD engine, Big twin or Sporty. No front crossmember where a Big Twin motor would mount, no rear motor mount, no place to mount tranny. Rear downtubes in wrong place for Sporty, no front Sporty mount holes, and etc. Probably a frame for some rice.

If you look closely, it looks like they have brackets on either side for the front mounts....I'd definitely say that this was home-built...

The more I look at it, the more I agree with pococj...looks like Rice. And if it's not....I wanna see better pics of the mounts close up...where'd you find this?

Nope...not HD...period. It's home-built, but pococj was right, there are no mounts anywhere that even resemble HD frames, even aftermarket and home-built HD frames will have cross braces, tranny plates, etc.

EDIT: It's for a Triumph...I just researched a few google Image pics....those mounts match Triumph frames.
