Received it today. PN 29254-08 marked as "Fits '08 XL Models".

Not sure when I'll be installing it but I'll post as to what happens.

 

I'm just reading the info that came with it, like the instructions. There are phrases like "the following applies to EFI models only" and "for carbureted models........ do this"

Seems like BS this whole "08 XL only" deal. I'm pretty sure any will fit any. But I'll confirm it once I actually install it (soon).
