I concur, there ain't nothing wrong with a Sporty. It kinda pisses me off when I meet someone with a Sporty then he starts apologizing for having it. WTF?

The Sporster are great but I had the use of my brothers Electra Glide for 2 years and loved it. So ride what makes you happy and in my case what you can afford.

Am I seeing things, or are the forks on your sporty raked out? If so, it looks damn good. Any info on it?

thanks crazytrain.

I think it looks good....I also find it comfortable.
Besides the mods I mentioned above (seat...pipes...bags..wind shield..gps) It also has forward controls with heel-rests...v. nice.

I'm lucky enough to own both a RK and a Sporty. I can't tell you which one I'm going to ride until I open the garage door each morning. My Sporty is setup for one-up riding only, while the RK is easily setup if the wife wants to go or not. I routinely joke with the wife that I take the removable back rest off of the RK, "so the chicks think I'm single!"

If you're happy with your scoot, then that's all that matters. After all, after you pass someone on the road, how long are you on their mind or how long is their opinion on yours?

Ride safe, ride often.

good deal man! Don't ever think you have to have a big twin, get what makes you happy. I know a few guys that have sportys and would not trade them for anything. Everyone is different. Enjoy that bike!

Won't be no apologizing from me. If you don't like my ride, get out of my way.
