Default Fairing windshield options

Seeing as it is getting colder by the day here in WI... I am looking for a windshield that can help with wind protection for my upper body and hands.

I am considering the S-03 Slipstreamer "The Original"
Seen here on their website:-
http://www.slipstreamer.com/Product/...g/touring.html

I've checked their fitment charts and they it won't fit a sportster... overall dimension are close to my memphis shades except for the slipstreamer is much wider at the hands.

Anyone have experience with these windshields where they are wider at the hands.

Any other recommendations.

I've priced this one on a few websites and it's around $200 shipped.

I'd really like the Corbin or Hoppe full fairing but those are pricey!!

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
Ryan.

To each his own,but I would put a battery tender sae plug on and invest in some heated gear instead.

Memphis Fats is top quality. I use it and recommend it. You could add their lowers and some wind deflectors on the handlebars. That would give you a lot or protection without going to a full fairing.

I don't have to deal with much cold weather, so the shield alone works well for me.

Hey...Its all down hill here from now until spring. Riding requires heavy clothing and studded tires.

+1 I have a quick detach winnie shield (that leaves no mounting hardware behind when you take the ugly thing off) and heated gloves for my biscuit hooks when it's cold.

I agree with Fasthoss & SportyPig. That slipstreamer is hideous.

Default Fairing

Check this out. I have one , it works, it is an 8 inch shield , they said they did not have a 12 inch version , you would have to get an older shield and cut it up.

Do they offer small windscreens for the hand controls? A few ladies in my club have them on their Jap bikes, but I have never seen them for HD
