Default How can I find out what year motor I bought on eBay?
The title says it all. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you see the VIN on the case?

Ok, I started to wise off to such a stupid question, but here's why: I practically stole the thing, leaving me money to put cams, lifters, pistons, heads, etc.

The year is part of the VIN that should be on the motor case.

It would be a real bitch if you put it on your bike or build one and find out you can't get a title because it is stolen.I hope you got a notorized bill of sale.

Ok, these replies are interesting...sociologically. diablo666 and Joseph Garcia, your replies were a waste of my time and your time as well, if you have a life outside the internet. Jesus, are you two socially handicapped? I don't get it. Think about your replies in contrast with the other helpful ones. Consider a doctor recommended medication. You other fellas that replied.
