Default Doing this, this weekend.

Got my jet kit today. I am going to install this and drill holes in my stock backplate. Already have holes drilled into my stock pipes. Do you guys think I should take the baffles out completely or just drill another hole or two? I plan on keeping the stock air filter because i put a K&N in my truck and didn't notice any difference at all. Unless you guys can shoot holes on any of my plans I plan on doing this this weekend.

you can drill holes in your AC but the filter itself is the airflow limiting factor.

and you can punch holes in your exhuast cans but there still restrictive.

you got the jets just get a cheap highflow exhuast and a K&N filter.

If you didn't change the exhaust on your truck you wouldn't notice any difference by changing the air filter. Both ends need to be opened up in order to breathe better on the bike. Most newer Sporties can open the exhaust w/o a jet kit but doing the filter and the exhaust needs the rejet. Enjoy working on it because that's all part of the fun.
