Greetings

I've just started hearing a squeak (not in the engine but near the handgrip) recently on my '04 1200c. I also seem to recall reading that the cables should be lubed every once in awhile. Did I read right ? Is there a specific kind of lube that I should get to lube the cables ?

 

I use Super Oil, but there are some other cable lubes that I think are better, I don't recall the name of those at the moment. I think one is called dry slide.

 

Go to any scooter dealer and get some cable lube. Follow the directions.

 

It could also just be the pin holding the lever in place, but lube cables anyway, won't hurt none, just put a little anti-sieze on the pin.
