Reminder, if you hit a deer....Drag it out of the freakin' road instead of leaving it lay there for others to keep hitting it/running over. Now I've gotta go scrub deer guts off the scoot when I get home.....It should be baked in real good by that time.
Stay safe.....

Thats crazy!!! Glad you hit it straight on!
I hit a Goose on the way to Sturgis a couple years ago. It was part of a flock the wife scared up in front of me in the truck and trailer she was driving with the dogs. The flock started running/starting to fly across the road, one of them that was a little slow got knocked down by my front tire, then jumped.
It sucked, but at least I made it, and the rest got away free. I knocked on the houses door where the flock seemed to have come from and let them know. They were appreciative and took the bird.

The Great Fork in the road came man, you got out of it a Champion.
I'm defintiely a 'screw it on' and not a 'brake and swerve' kind of guy myself. Got myself into a bad situation years ago with an 18 wheeler and a parked car one day. ****ing floored the accelerator and shot past between the semi and the parked car. It was that or brake hard enough to still run into the parked car. Lesson leaned though, don't ever pass on the right, no matter how many times you've been down that road.
Keep on getting the rubber side down man.

You got a freebee!!!
I hear of a lot of people laying over bikes on less of a obstruction! Cudos for keeping it up!
Iv tried pulling my nightster's front end up, just to see how difficult it would be...and it aint easy!! The only way I can pull it up is by accelerating and popping the clutch....kinda scary!
