What length of cables will I need to convert from drag bars to mini apes? I was planning to buy the apes from the softail heiritage. When I look online I see +4, +6, etc. I am not sure that my current cables are stock and I am not sure how long stock cables are. Could I just use clothes hanger to mock up the routing then measure the overall length? I would still need to know how long stock is.

 

Stock should be listed on the site for the new cables. Run a string to measure for the new length once you get the bars on, and then you will have exact length. Make sure to leave a little slack so they don't bind or get pulled when the bars are turned all the way one direction or the other.
