I know this question is as old as dirt...but how many people ran or run Shorts Shots on a fuel injected 1200 with the stock AC and no fuel mods? Its going to be a couple weeks on the next round but I have a big ride this weekend and I wanted to make myself feel better. I wouldnt be so concerend with slip ons or a longer exhaust...but as short and as free flowing as they seem I am just a little concerned.

I ran mine with the Zero MAP on my PC III for a few weeks before getting my Heavy Breather. I didn't have any problems.

 

i put 600 miles on m bike with just shortshots no aftermarket a/c or ecu remap just bolted them up. first ten miles were a lil rough but the ecu correct the a/f and it ran great after that. you will be fine wont have any issue. but when you can def do the stage 1 i did mine a week ago and with the pcIII and revxtend feature its like a totally diff bike.

 

i rode mine two, but got nervous when the stealer told me it was running way too lean... but WTF knows if he was telling the truth. they charged me a friggin ****laod for the remap stage I... weak sauce!

 

just be prepared for some poppin'.
