Default SE Race tuner question

I just got a call from my dealer the other day and he said "Hey, I forgot to give you your Race tuner, come and pick it up." (price on box is $549.95) So today I picked it up it is Part #32109-08 - SE Pro Super Tuner Kit. I assume it was used to tune my bike from the dealer and my bike runs "Top Dawg" but no cords or anything, just software and the box. Does it need to be hooked up to the computer and the bike at the same time? The manual on the disc says nothing about hooking it up. I just wanted to check the map. And I guess you can use it to plot 0-60MPH times and quarter mile times too. Any info on that would be great.

From my understanding all the data they collect is from the Dyno and using the SERT to re-map your ECM. unless you have a PCIII or another fuel management system that allows you to download/load maps i am not sure if you are able to view maps with your SERT (don't quote me on this, don't have a SERT)

you should have had a data cable that is used to plug into the bike and the you will have to get the adapter (from best buy or such) so you can plug it into a computer USB... but yes you should have software... DO NOT LOOSE THAT CD!!!!!!!!
if you need a pic of it PM me and i can take a pic of mine when i get home

All I got was the tuner when the dealer installed it, unless it is in the box with my stock exhaust. Guess I'll have to open it up and double check.

From what I understand by looking on HD's website, the cables are another $30. I know the one to the computer is a standard USB cable but where does the other cable connect to on the bike? (If I can locate a cable.)

I can't even get the software to work on my puter so I guess it doesn't matter. The O/L got this thing so screwed up I can barely get online. Guess I'll have to wait till I get a new Laptop.

I have a SERT (part of my stage 1) installed on my FLSTF's computer.

I got a box from the dealer which contained an installation cd and a black plastic molded part with two computer adapter ports, I think it is called a module or interface unit?

I didn't get any cables. The Service guy wrote the map number on the side of the box which was installed when the stage 1 parts were fitted.
