My wife will be ready to ride in the spring. We purchased a 08 883C for a deal. She can ride it great but...the forward controls may be a problem. Has anyone converted the forwards back to original "under the driver" position?

There have been people that have done that. Not too difficult. I'm sure if you ask around, you can probably find someone with mid-controls that would love to do a "swap" with ya.

 

It shouldnt be a problem with the stock controls there not that far forward compared to the bigger bikes with forward controls,

 

She just passed her M2 this weekend. So she can ride in the spring..first thing. I'll let her try them and wait for feedback
