Time to replace the rubber on my 05 1200C. I've decided to go with Avon Venoms. I ride aggressively on lightly-traveled roads in central/northern PA, so cornering traction is #1 consideration.

I have stock wheels. Should I stay w/stock size and profile or change? Where did you find the best deal?

 

Avon 90/90-21 (3.7") with a rear 160 (6.6")

I have 310 miles on my new Venoms, way better then stock all-around. Makes my bike ride smoother and handles the curves a lot easier. I love the look of the 90/90 21" front tire, it's 1/2" wider then stock, and dont look as skinny as the stock 21" did. I can now go from lane to lane on the highway and I cant feel the seams in the highway like I could with the stock tires, love that. I also went with the V rated rear tire because it's 1/4" wider then the H rated Venom rear 150 tire. I got mine at a local indy shop...
