For future consideration, I have a Zox Half Helmet and love it. It's light and doesn't give the mushroom look. You can get them for about $40. I even saw that my local Harley dealership is selling them now. Here's a link: http://www.easternperformance.com/in...oducts_id=1765

Got my Skid Lid today and even though it is built really well I don't like it. I get super bad mushroom head with it and the strap on it is way too long. After you loop it through the strap hangs down about a foot.

Whichever half helmet you purchase --I suggest you remove any visors ASAP
They just seem to rip the helmet off your head !

Cut the strap to the length you want then use a match or lighter to melt the frayed ends where you cut it.

IMO you can't beat the helmets from carbonfiberhelmets.com.

I have tried alot of helmets the only one that didnt give me the mushroom is the carbonfiberhelmets.com one
