Default nighster with possible leak

I have an 08 nightster that i have installed V&H shortshots and a fuelpak.
But the problem is that I got back from riding a couple hundered miles on it after the install and I noticed what looked to be an oil leak at the top of the lifter rod tube right above the rear exhaust. It has left a small couple of spots on the side of my motor. Is this a major prob.

I have an appointment set up to have it looked at while still under warranty. But just wonder about the issue.

No, it's not a major problem, unless you start to see it really flowing out. It's an easy fix with some new gaskets, and they should cover it under the warranty. Just keep an eye on it until they can look at it.

W/O seeing it, IMFUO, push rod tube seal. With WV, just keep an eye on it, and ride it. Try to keep the area fairly clean, so you can tell if it is gettin' worse, but my guess is, it won't.
Prob'y bumped or jostled that tube when doing the exhaust install. If you have the 'guts', try spinning the tube a bit by hand. Many times, this will reseat it, and leak will stop, BUT NOT every time.
