Hello ...I have a ? hope someone can answer..I just won a xl screaming eagle air cleaner kit on ebay and was not paying good enough attention to the pics of cleaner..what I noticed after winning was the back of the box says 1988 and up XL-- ahhhhhhhh I own a 06 XL have I just became another idiot? or will it fit my 06..any help will be great..thanks for any answers in advance..

 

I don't think that will work. I'm pretty sure, they changed the air cleaners in 2004.

 

Perhaps you can sell it on either on here or on ebay and hopefully get back most of what you paid.

 

Yep, you will need the '04-UP.

 

Not 04 and up...you'll need 04 -06. They changed again in 07 with the EFI.
